Executive Board Member for Development leaves STIHL

The Supervisory Board of STIHL AG announces that Anke Kleinschmit, Executive Board Member for Development, will leave the company by mutual agreement on June 30, 2025. Dr. Holger Lochmann, STIHL Senior Vice President of Innovation, has been appointed to the Executive Board of STIHL AG on an interim basis with responsibility for Development.

From May 2019 onwards, Anke Kleinschmit has made a significant contribution to the technological and strategic development of the company in the field of research and development. Under her leadership, important innovation projects were launched, and key product initiatives were successfully implemented.

Dr. Holger Lochmann joins the Executive Board of STIHL AG, where he will be responsible for Development. The 58-year-old, who holds a PhD in chemistry, has held various positions at STIHL since 1999, and, as Senior Vice President of Innovation, has been responsible for key research and development topics since 2015.

“After an interesting time as Executive Board Member for Development at STIHL, during which I was able to achieve a great deal together with my excellent team, I have decided to continue my professional career outside the company,” says Anke Kleinschmit. “I would like to thank for the trust placed in me and the constructive and successful cooperation, which was the focus of the transformation process initiated at STIHL.”
